Amidst the Monday blues and the starry clues
I sit beneath the moon around the surrounding hues
And ask myself and the moon:
how far I've come, how far yet to go

How long it has been since we talked last
of the future and the past,
The more I think, the more I grow
The more I wonder how little do I know.

A Lilliput in Brobdingnangs, a hymn I sang

How long to breathe, how hard to blow

How woke it has been, how more to glow

How sheer it has been, how complex to flow.

How ittle things have turned into a shallow bright, 

Hiding beneath them the greatest and the might.

And when the night has said its part,

and quiet settles in my heart

for all I’ve been, for all I’ve done,

it is time now to face the sun.
